What is Stvologen?

Study Results

Pharmacological properties

Preclinical studies have shown that the Stvologen mechanism of action directly affects the process of proliferation and differentiation of CD34+ stem cells.

Stvologen exerts regulatory effects on antibody and cell-mediated immunity and affects the lymphoid cells differentiation process by inducing the expression of differentiation antigens on leukocytes. After radiation exposure, Stvologen accelerates the recovery of pluripotent stem cells.

The safety of Stvologen has been confirmed in studies of acute and chronic toxicity. Stvologen showed no signs of acute toxicity when administered at doses 1000 times higher than therapeutic ones and showed no signs of chronic toxicity after a 3-month administration regimen in doses 50 times higher than therapeutic ones. Studies in transgenic animal models have also demonstrated the ability of Stvologen to stimulate the transcriptional activity of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB). In addition, the ability of Stvologen to stimulate the proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells has been proven in several studies – both in models of intact (healthy) bone marrow, and in models where the bone marrow was exposed to negative external influences (for example, radiation).

Stvologen has undergone studies in patients (including patients with SARS and patients in the recovery stage from SARS), as well as in healthy volunteers.

Studies have shown that Stvologen increases the resistance abilities of the body to disease and stress, normalizes sleep, and improves physical endurance and quality of life. For example, patients who used Stvologen exhibited acceleration of recovery from sickness, increased energy, and increased physical activity tolerance.
